May 25th Post

Hello Friends,
We are praying for many of you; particularly the home congregation, that you are doing well in the faith above all. Also, for you to prosper in every way, body, soul, spirit, family, and financially! We think of you every moment of the day and are praying for good direction for the church in taking the town of Harlan!
Today our day was a bit slower! We went out for a game drive early this morningto see if we could find the lions that were hunting as it got dark last evening. We looked high and low on our way out, but to no avail. So we went looking for the rhino again where we left him yesterday evening. On the way we found some new and exciting things.
We found a Cheetah, who had lost his two brothers, looking desperately for them with his belly full from eating. I guess he stayed at the table too long and they left. He was barking profusely for them and we followed him a long way. We got some great photos and video footage of him.

After we left him, we saw a group  of hyenas that had killed a young impala. The were fighting for it from each other, and also trying to keep it away from jackals. That was quite a sight.

As for Dan Bontrager and Doug Nolt; who says men don’t wear pink! These characters prove that men do, and that the older they get, the more pink they wear! The male is the first photo and his wife the second. These are ostrich, by the way!

We never did see the rhino, but on the way back we foud the pride of 19 lions again. No kill yet, so we went out late this evening – no kill yet. L We’ll go out early in the morning again, because that’s the only thing left that we really, really want to see! You can even pray for that for us if you’d like!
When we got back to camp, we had someone’s brother and his cousins waiting to get inside the fence, to see if we'd talked to you lately! I won’t say who’s!

We saw a few more birds and took pictures of them for you Martha Weaver Mobile;
We saw an S. Crowned Crane eating beside the road. Don't know what the S. stands for though.

I'm not sure what this next bird is called, but it was beautiful! We looked for it in the bird book but it isn't there. I'm almost sure it must be a Plover.

God bless your day, wherever you are and know that the eyes of the Lord are looking, to see whose hearts are turned to him. In Him, Lael and Cheryl
